The client:

The Amsterdam office of Garuda Indonesia, the national airline of Indonesia.

The assignment:

To act as sole translation partner for all of the assignments that the airline regularly requires.

The challenge:

This client’s translations are usually urgent. As is commonplace in the travel industry, time is of the essence. Documents often arrive at the last minute and need to be translated ASAP. Often, sworn translations from and into Bahasa Indonesia must be urgently completed: a highly specialist field with a scarcity of professionals available.
